Elabora 0.5.1: a module in one go, the canal locks in French
A new module, from its plan to its screens in one go
The canal locks example, now in French
« Installer dans Claude » now works on Windows
All changes
« Nouveau module » with an AI now goes for « un plan, puis tous les écrans » by default: the AI writes the plan, then every screen, in one go, without waiting for your approval. « un plan, que vous validez » is the second choice, in the sentence by the buttons. A new module’s folder is named elabora-module- and six characters, which an AI app shows plainly when it asks whether to trust the folder; earlier modules keep theirs.
The example « How do canal locks work? » comes with its French translation, ready in Traduction.
In Traduction › En contexte, a screen with a free object, like the first screen of the canal locks, shows its slide again: the texts the slide does not mark are listed under it, and a block’s many texts open on a click.
Publier counts the energy of loading a course at 0.03 kWh a gigabyte, the latest French average (Arcep, 2024 data), instead of 0.1: a 100 MB course is an LED bulb lit for 25 minutes rather than 1 h 15. The manual’s page « Poids et énergie » explains the figure.
After an update, the note at the head of the home shows what a new version brings, never a fix like this one: every version’s notes are in Aide › Nouveautés d’Elabora and on elabora.studio.
The extension « Installer dans Claude » adds starts in the Node.js built into Claude, its default for extensions, as on Windows: Claude no longer reports « Server disconnected » right after it starts. The extension is version 0.2.1.
A translation may change the words of a message that varies with a number or a choice (ICU plural or select); the check still keeps its real placeholders.
For agents and the CLI: new library modules live in elabora-module-xxxxxx folders, and folders named by a UUID stay modules. A copy of the elabora CLI from Elabora 0.5.0 or earlier, installed apart from the app, reports the new folders as errors; the CLI the app installs updates with it.
