The difference in one minute
dominKnow | ONE is a content platform. Authors build courses in 2 modes, Claro for fixed slides and Flow for responsive pages, share topics and elements across projects, and review them in the same place.
Elabora is a desktop app for one author and their AI. The AI proposes a plan, writes the screens, and each change can be undone.
What dominKnow does better

Where Elabora differs
- Free on your computer, where dominKnow is sold on quote, per author.
- The AI as a co-author: Claude, ChatGPT or Elabora’s free chat, working on your files.
- Scenes and conversations: 3D objects learners operate, dialogues with characters who speak.
- Your files, as folders in an open format.
Which one should you choose?
Choose dominKnow if…
- Several authors, experts and reviewers work in the same projects, with roles and permissions.
- You reuse the same pages and elements across many courses.
- Your LMS needs AICC, SCORM 2004, xAPI or cmi5, or you need on-premises hosting.
Choose Elabora if…
- You are one designer, or a small team where one author leads each course.
- You want your AI to write the plan and the screens, and to undo any change it makes.
- You want your courses as files on your computer, for free.
Elabora’s limits today
We list them on every comparison. They are what we work on first.
- One delivery format today: SCORM 1.2 packages and web links. If your LMS needs SCORM 2004, xAPI or cmi5, keep your current tool for those courses for now.
- Importing Storyline and Rise courses is in beta. Some question types, triggers and interactions come over as text with a note, and the import report lists each one.
- A young tool: the first public version came out on 20 October 2026, and Elabora is in beta. Expect fewer tutorials and community answers, and a new version every few days.
- One author per course for now. Co-authoring and shared team spaces come later, with Elabora’s cloud.
- A smaller library: 7 templates and starter blocks, and no stock library of photos or characters.
