The difference in one minute

Parta calls itself a content orchestration platform. Courses live in its cloud; agents connected through its MCP draft and edit them, translate them with linked language versions, audit accessibility and bring in SCORM packages from other tools.

Elabora is a desktop app for one author and their AI. The AI proposes a plan, writes the screens in a folder on your computer, and each change can be reviewed and undone.

What Parta does better

  • Agents at work across the platform: drafting, editing, translation, accessibility audits and SCORM migration (MCP 3.0, October 2026).
  • Multilingual courses with linked language versions and Phrase TMS.
  • Team work: real-time collaboration, roles, permissions and tasks from the Studio plan.
  • Layouts: more than 150 content and quiz layouts, and your own templates.

Where Elabora differs

  • Free, with the MCP server and the elabora command included.
  • Files you keep, in an open format.
  • Richer screens: 3D objects learners operate, dialogues with characters who speak, narration with free local voices.

Which one should you choose?

Choose Parta if…

  • You run customer education or digital CX content for many audiences and languages.
  • Your team works in real time, with roles and tasks.
  • You want agents to migrate SCORM packages from other tools, or to audit accessibility.

Choose Elabora if…

  • You are one designer, or a small team, and want to start today for free.
  • You want your courses as files on your computer, in an open format.
  • You want 3D scenes and dialogues with characters who speak.

Elabora’s limits today

We list them on every comparison. They are what we work on first.

  • One delivery format today: SCORM 1.2 packages and web links. If your LMS needs SCORM 2004, xAPI or cmi5, keep your current tool for those courses for now.
  • Importing Storyline and Rise courses is in beta. Some question types, triggers and interactions come over as text with a note, and the import report lists each one.
  • A young tool: the first public version came out on 20 October 2026, and Elabora is in beta. Expect fewer tutorials and community answers, and a new version every few days.
  • One author per course for now. Co-authoring and shared team spaces come later, with Elabora’s cloud.
  • A smaller library: 7 templates and starter blocks, and no stock library of photos or characters.
